What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We store the study progress data you create — topic statuses, revision counts, mock test scores, and exam dates — in our database (Supabase). We do not collect payment information, phone numbers, or any other personal data.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide the JEE Tracker service — displaying your progress, calculating weighted scores, and showing your exam countdowns. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Data storage
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (supabase.com), a cloud database provider. Each user's data is isolated using Row Level Security — you can only access your own rows. Data is stored in servers located in Singapore (ap-southeast-1 region).
Google sign-in
We use Google OAuth for authentication, provided by Supabase Auth. We only request your basic profile (name and email). We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or any other Google services.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser localStorage to store your theme preference (light/dark mode) and certain UI settings. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
Deleting your data
You can delete all your saved progress at any time using the 'Clear Data' button on the Dashboard. This permanently removes all your topic progress, test scores, and exam dates from our database. To request full account deletion, email us and we will remove your record.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. We will update the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. Continued use of JEE Tracker after changes means you accept the updated policy.
